On Thursday, July 23, Kevin Ryder, director of Medfield Park and Recreation, announced some changes regarding Hinkley Pond for the remainder of the summer season. Previously, only residents could visit the swim pond. As of now, non-residents who are caregivers or babysitters can take children who do live in Medfield.

Hinkley Pond is now open for the summer, with new rules in order to ensure the safety of all visitors.
Visitors will be limited to residents only, while non-residents and guests of residents of residents are prohibited. Visitors will be asked to provide proof of Medfield residency to be admitted...
