Hinkley Pond opened for the summer

Hinkley Pond is now open for the summer, with new rules in order to ensure the safety of all visitors.

Visitors will be limited to residents only, while non-residents and guests of residents of residents are prohibited. Visitors will be asked to provide proof of Medfield residency to be admitted to the pond. There will be no seasonal memberships available this year. Instead, guests are asked to pay the daily fee in cash when they visit. The daily admission fees this year will be $10 per adult and $7 per child. Children under two are free. After paying the fee, visitors can leave the pond and come back, unless the pond is at full capacity (100 visitors).

While enjoying the beach, visitors must wear a mask, except while swimming or relaxing on their spot on the beach. Guests are also asked to keep at least six feet between each other, and maintain ten feet from other groups. More information about Hinkley Pond and these new rules can be found here.
