The lawn in front of the Westwood Senior Center was filled with children, families and plenty of bubbles as Bubbleman kicked off the Westwood Young Women’s Club’s Summer Concert Series.

Bubbleman, a one-man act by local DJ Rob Peters, brought plenty of music to the concert, with a unique twist: a large bubble machine created tons of bubbles – and fun – for the many kids and families who attended the concert.

For those who missed the first concert, no worries, there are still several summer concerts lined up for kids and families to enjoy throughout the month of July.

The next concert is scheduled for July 18, and will feature The Jitterbugs, a kids band featuring a highly energetic group of characters.

The final summer concert of the season will be on July 25, and will feature Jedlie’s Totally Interactive Magic Circus. The act blends music and the magic of the circus, and features interactive performances with plenty of opportunities for audience participation.

All concerts are held at 6:30 p.m. at the lawn in front of the Westwood Senior Center on Nahatan Street. For more information about the Westwood Young Women’s Club Summer Concert Series, visit wywc.org.
