The Dover-Sherborn Regional indoor track team traveled to the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston on February 13 to compete in the Division V State Championship Meet.
Caitlin Britt placed fifth in the mile with a time of 5:29.48, breaking her own school record she set earlier this season.
On the boys side, the Raiders made history as this is the first year the Raiders have had division champions since the program’s inception in 2013-2014. Oliver Fried took home the Division V championship in the mile with a time of 4:26.10.
The 4×800 relay team of Danny Bennett, Noah Guarini, Owen Wiemeyer, and Oliver Fried was also crowned Division V champions with a time of 8:30.93, breaking the school record they broke earlier this season.
The wins by Fried and the 4x800 teams qualified the four athletes to compete in the All-States Meet on February 23 at the Reggie Lewis Center. Fried ran a 4:26.10 at All-States.
“Incredible season by these athletes,” said head coach Maura Bennett. “This team has so much to be proud of with how much they accomplished.”
