Ironically being held on the weekend of the first day of spring, Medfield-based band Route 109 held its annual Winter Blues concert last Friday night at the Medfield American Legion.
The concert helped rock away the cold of winter and was also a fundraiser for a pair of charities that have ties with the band.
The concert raised money for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) and the Pediatric IBD Foundation (PEDI IBD).
Performing at this year’s event were Route 109, PleasantVillains, and Trills and Chills, an a cappella group from the Eva Kendrick Voice Studio.
