When days get long, and work continues to get busier and busier, or even if you just need a break from the fast-paced culture, hobbies can be the perfect escape. The Medfield Public Library has created the perfect group for artists who want to escape the busyness and relax.

Casual Creativity for Adults is a group of members of the Medfield community coming together at least once a month to have an hour dedicated to having fun. It’s a time to sit, relax, and be creative. With projects ranging from various different types of artwork, members of the group are solely excited to be together and have a creative outlet.

In joining the group, you will be fully welcomed with open arms, smiles, and of course extra pens to share. Although their location meeting always varies depending on the weather, they couldn’t say no to spending some time outdoors on Friday, July 28th.

Meeting at the Medfield State Hospital fields, the group of artists gathered around with their chairs and blankets. Led by Bri Ozanne they began their time creating around the theme of dot art, with special dotting bright colorful pens, the adults got straight to work on their masterpieces.

While creativity emerged through each canvas, the group started catching up and sharing stories about their times growing up creating art, and their casual day-day’s now. Time really did fly by while they were having fun, before they knew it, the hour had already passed and it was time to share their marvelous pieces of work.

In need of a quick escape from the busyness of your day? Check-in and sign up to join the Casual Creativity for Adults group! They would certainly love to have you, you can sign up via emailing Ozanne at bozanne@minlib.net.
