Pre-schoolers relish Red Nose Day

It was raining clowns at The Center for the Development of Children (a preschool with classes for children aged 2-5) this past week as all the children donned red noses to help support the great cause of Red Nose Day.

In an effort to educate the children that there are other kids nearby that are in need, they were asked to take $2.00 from their own piggy banks to donate and in return they received a fun red nose to wear. It was an excellent opportunity to teach compassion and empathy and the children were eager to help. And of course, any opportunity to wear a funny red nose is irresistible!

The Center was able to raise $102 in only a week for this wonderful cause. For more information on the Center for The Development of Children and how your child can join our school, please contact Sandy Blinn at (508-785-1835) or ctrdevchild@gmail.com.
