A production of Jean Genet's classic absurdist play "The Maids" will be performed at the Sherborn Community Center this month. The production is run entirely by a team of Dover-Sherborn students and alumni, who previously presented Jean-Paul Sartre's "No Exit" last June. The play tells the story of two maids, Solange and Claire, and follows their descent into madness as they plot to murder the wealthy society woman they work for. The production is directed by Brett Melican and stars Lila Hovey, Aidan Levinson, and Brin Rockett.
Performances are Friday, July 19, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, July 20, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door. This production is intended for a mature audience.
