Westwood Public Library (WPL) recently hosted their first ever Westwood Library Puzzle Competition. A variety of teams ventured out to the library in a quest to finish a 500 piece puzzle provided by the library. All teams were given the same puzzle to complete; whoever finished first was declared the winner.
There were teams of all ages assembled, as this event was open to children over eight years old and anyone else that wanted to participate. Each team was comprised of two to four puzzle masters that were eager to race the clock and win first prize.
"The Piece Makers" were the winners of this event, as this team was the one who finished a 500 piece puzzle in 45 minutes, a very impressive feat.
With the success of this event, the Westwood Public Library was proud to report: “We definitely plan to do this again so stay tuned!”
Paricipants are hopeful that this will become a regular event, whether annually held or with a greater frequency. It was a wonderful way to bring friends and families together to see which team contains the puzzle masters of Westwood.
