Garden Club features White, plans celebration

The Westwood Garden Club recently invited Ron White from Silver and Sage Florist Shop Norwood to demonstrate how to make a holiday arrangement. Ron came with buckets of beautiful fall flowers and prepared cornucopias. He demonstrated how to make three different designs while members followed their own ideas.

On December 14, the Garden Club will be holding their Christmas celebration at the Pat Larkin Senior Center Thursday at 1:30 p.m. The theme for this year's party will be “Decorate your own Christmas wreath.” Each member is asked to bring a $5 donation to be given to a charity to be determined. Sid Tratenberg will provide the music. Food and drinks will be provided by Board.

There will be no meeting in January 2018.
