Walpole Day Trolley Tour

[ccfic caption-text format="plaintext"]

This Walpole Day, explore Walpole’s most-identifiable landmarks and experience the town’s rich 291-year history with a chance to take a trolley tour through Walpole’s historic neighborhoods.

The Walpole Historical Society and the Walpole Recreation Department are partnering together to sponsor a historic trolley tour of our town on Walpole Day 2016, which will take place on Saturday, May 14 from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Stone Field behind Town Hall.

There will be three one-hour narrated trolley tours starting at 12 p.m., at the top of each hour, beginning at Blackburn Hall. Each tour will follow a route from Blackburn Hall to East Walpole, then South Walpole, and back to Blackburn Hall.

Space on the trolley is limited, so tickets can be purchased in advance at the Walpole Historical Society or Recreation Department for $5 each.

The Walpole Historical Society is located at the Deacon Willard Lewis House and is open each Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets can also be requested by emailing [email protected].
