An observance for Martin Luther King Day will be held at United Church in Walpole on Monday, January 21, starting at 6:30 PM. People are invited to join with a candlelight vigil in front of the church, located on 30 Common Street. At 7:00 p.m., the observance will move into the church for readings and reflections, followed by light refreshments. Candles will be provided. The observance is sponsored by United Church in Walpole Outreach Committee and Justice and Witness Ministries and by the Walpole Peace and Justice Group. The public is invited.
