Crowes Pastures playing Walpole Library

Acoustic duo Crowes Pasture plays live in Walpole on Wednesday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. Monique Byrne and Andy Rogovin bring leather-and-lace harmonies to classic and contemporary folk music in a style that draws from old-time, folk, and bluegrass traditions. Sponsored by the Friends of the Walpole Public Library, the performance will be held in the Community Room of the Walpole Public Library, 143 School Street. As with all Friends events, admission is free and all are welcome. More details are available at www.walpolelibraryfriends.org.

Boston-based Crowes Pasture emulates such artists as Gillian Welch/David Rawlings, Ian & Sylvia, and the Civil Wars.

The title song from the duo’s second full-length CD, "Edge of America" debuted at #3 on the FolkDJ charts in October 2017, with the album itself reaching No. 7. The album continued on the charts for several months. Their first full-length CD was released in May of 2016, and stayed on the FolkDJ charts for several months, peaking at No. 20. Songs from both albums can be heard on folk radio stations across the U.S. and on four continents.
