The Westwood High School varsity boys hockey team won their fourth straight contest with a 2-0 win over Dedham on Saturday.

Before the win over the Marauders, however, the Wolverines (10-4-2, 7-3-2) set a Massachusetts high school hockey state record by clinching their 36th consecutive state tournament berth following a 2-0 win over Holliston on January 31.

Junior forward Shane Cronin and junior defenseman Brian Blomquist each notched goals in the winning effort, while senior captain and goaltender Justin Anderson recorded his sixth shutout of the season.

At the time of print, the Wolverines sport a TVL-best goals-for to goals-against ratio at 53-23. Westwood will look to close out the regular season strongly when the Wolverines travel to Lynnfield on February 17, followed by another road game at Oliver Ames on February 22.
