On a wet Sunday morning, the Grade 6 DSW Patriots improved to 5-0 with a 25-0 win over Bellingham at Nora Searle field. Paced by touchdown runs from Michael Polk, Will Dummer, and Danny Sullivan as well as Luke Rinaldi’s 40 yard touchdown pass to Griffin Rosbottom and PATs by Connor Mathew and Mekhi Robinson, the Patriots sustained a well-rounded effort against the visitors. Aidan Gibbons’ three quarterback sacks led the defensive effort with contributions from Matt Darin, Jason Cassarino, Brett Driscoll, and Ty Myrick and multiple turnovers helped keep Bellingham’s offense from crossing the 50 yard line through out the game.

The DSW Patriots look to redeem last year’s loss in the finals when it takes on defending champion Weston-Wayland at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning at Wayland High School.
