After taking home the Division III state championship back in June with a 7-4 win over rival Grafton at Babson, Dover-Sherborn lacrosse is back in the headlines after making up approximately a sixth of the BostonLax Division III All-State team.
Along with being named Boston Globe Division III player of the year, Cam Roycroft was named BostonLax defensive player of the year First-Team for close D.
Rising junior attack-man Pierce Gregory was named First-Team after finishing second on the team in total points despite missing half the season with a broken wrist.
Team-leader in both goals and total points, Timmy Polk, was named First-Team along with rising senior and Colby committed attack-man Erik Niit, rising junior LSM Drew Dummer, fogo Matt Paolatto, and midfielder Henry Kenney. Rising senior goalie Matt Gallitano was named Second-Team All-State, as well, to make it eight total DS Raiders making the 49-man All-State roster
This past week, rising senior midfielder John Sveen committed to play at Skidmore College.
