On Thursday, July 23, Kevin Ryder, director of Medfield Park and Recreation, announced some changes regarding Hinkley Pond for the remainder of the summer season. Previously, only residents could visit the swim pond. As of now, non-residents who are caregivers or babysitters can take children who do live in Medfield.
The new guests will still be required to pay the daily entrance fee ($10 per adult, $7 per child) and follow all previously reported rules, including wearing a mask. The non-resident will need to bring proof of the children's Medfield residents. A tax bill, utility bill, and other forms of mail are acceptable.
