On January 6-7, six Dover Sherborn High School students performed at the Massachusetts Music Educators Association Eastern District Senior Festival at Boston Latin School. The students were accepted to perform based on a competitive audition among hundreds of local high school students in November. The instrumentalists performed in the concert band under the direction of Dr. Russel Mikkelson, who serves as the director of university bands and conducting at Ohio State University. The vocalists sang in the chorus under the direction of Dr. Cory Ganschow, who serves as the coordinator of music education and associate director of choirs at Western Connecticut State University.
