Friends and neighbors are gearing up for Dover Days on the Town Green on September 9 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The Dover PTO planning committee has been hard at work preparing a fun day for all, with plenty of games and great prizes. There will be old favorites - Connect4, Wheel of Fortune, Lolli Tree, Bean Bag Toss and others - along with a few new additions, such as Marble Grab and Sponge Squeeze. Players earn tokens for each game, which can then be cashed in for fun prizes.
The PTO is also changing things up this year by replacing the Dunk Tank with the brand new Water Bucket Challenge. Participants will be able to soak parents and some of their favorite town celebrities - or for extra-special fun, select their own willing victim (come prepared to be wet).
Game and Bucket Challenge tickets will be sold at the Dover PTO booth for $1/each, or $20 for 25 tickets, including a bonus token cup.
