After going 12-8 during the regular season last year and winning a game in the first round of the Division 3 Central bracket against Christian Whitins before falling to Tyngsboro, the Dover-Sherborn boys’ basketball team came into this season with extremely high expectations in which they hoped to surpass last year’s success.

Coach Rick Grady’s team is sitting at 13-7 with one regular season game remaining, and several players have contributed both in the starting lineup and off the bench.

Sophomore Dante Eldridge has at times been the Raiders’ most dynamic scorer, but seniors Brendan Olski and Will Spangenberg have been threats from the perimeter and on the drive as well.

The Raiders dropped their most recent game on Friday, February 12 at Medfield in a high scoring game, 72-65, but had won their previous two games against Bellingham and Millis.

The season started out well for the Raiders as they began the year by going 6-1. They’ve really never let up since then.

Dover-Sherborn will close out the regular season when they host Holliston on Tuesday, February 23 at 6:30 p.m. The state tournament brackets will be released on Friday, February 26.
