The Economic Development Committee for the Town of Medfield and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at the Medfield Library from 3-8 p.m.
The Medfield Downtown Summit is an opportunity for residents to offer ideas, strategies, and actions to “increase the economic vitality and overall vibrancy of the downtown area,” according to a press release.
The meeting is open to all, including community members, business owners, property owners, and anyone else who is interested in the continued growth and sustainability of downtown Medfield.
There will be mapping and visual preference activities to help participants prioritize between retail, housing, and office developments and examine potential improvements to the connections between Medfield and surrounding towns.
In addition, residents can look at the current conditions and market analysis report.
The summit is part of MAPC’s outreach to local communities through the District Local Technical Assistance (DLTA) program.
