Westwood residents McKenzie McIntyre and Grace McMurray will compete on a Team Excel synchronized skating team representing The Skating Club of Boston at the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships from March 1-4, in Peoria, Illinois. McKenzie McIntyre represents Team Excel’s Juvenile Team and Grace McMurray represents Team Excel’s Collegiate team. Both teams are just one of only five Juvenile and Collegiate teams to qualify for nationals at the Eastern Sectional Synchronized Skating Championships in January. The teams will also be one of only twelve Juvenile and Collegiate teams from across the country to qualify and compete at this elite level.
