Goddesses in the Gardens coming soon

All are invited to the Goddesses in the Gardens event at The Gardens at Elm Bank on Thursday, August 17, from 5:30 p.m.- 8 p.m. Enjoy an evening of live music, harvest tastings, kid’s activities, and garden tours. Attendees are welcomed to bring a picnic dinner, a blanket or chairs, and enjoy live music by What’s Goin’ On.

Kids can discover how plants grow and create art from plants with special garden craft activities, and everyone can try something fresh from the Seed to Table vegetable garden. Guests may taste several different varieties of vegetables, including heirloom tomatoes, carrots, and Swiss chard, and rate them based on taste, texture, and appearance. Visitors can learn about the different vegetable varieties and growing habits and take away recipes incorporating these seasonal vegetables. Wine, beer, and other beverages will be sold.

What’s Goin’ On, featuring singer Nicole Webster and band members Tom Keiser, Jeff Williams, and Michael Ball, will entertain with live music. Nicole’s soulful style of singing incorporates her love of gospel, jazz, R&B, and rock.
