The Wheels of Wellesley car show, part of the Wellesley Wonderful Weekend, was a big hit this year. Featuring exotic and antique cars and motorcycles, this year’s big attraction was a replica Batmobile brought out to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the television show, “Batman.” Attendees got an opportunity to sit in the iconic car and have their photo taken and view other Batman memorabilia. They were also treated to a visit by Catwoman. The event was a fun and festive start to Wellesley Wonderful Weekend and gave visitors an opportunity to see up close many of the classic cars featured in the parade.

There was food, a magic show featuring Gil Stubbs, a karate obstacle course, pinewood derby car track, face painting, and musical entertainment performed by Rewind, a classic rock band.

Admission was free for all those who came out to the Wellesley Community Center to enjoy this day of classic cars and classic rock.
