The Walpole Historical Society will have an Open House on Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Deacon Willard Lewis House will be open for tours with members present to guide visitors through the house and answer questions about Walpole history. The house, built in 1826, is on the National Register of Historic Places.
There will also be an exhibit of photographs on the 1916 Dedication of the Walpole Town Forest, and the Town Forest’s 100th Anniversary, which was celebrated at the beginning of the month.
Books, maps, and other Walpoleana will be available to purchase. There is no charge for admission.
