Over 50 people gathered on the Walpole Common on Saturday, August 19, at a peace vigil standing for equality and justice for all and against hateful messages of intolerance and racism. Organized by the Walpole Peace and Justice Group, people from Walpole and surrounding towns - including members of Action Together Walpole and the Wrentham Lake Huddle - joined the vigil. While standing in witness, participants also sang peace songs and read excerpts from writings by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
