The annual Village Fair Road Race will be held on Saturday, June 11 at the West Street side of Epiphany Parish Church at 62 Front Street in downtown Walpole.
This year, the race will again have a 1-mile Kid’s Race. The 1-mile Kid’s Race will start at 8:45 a.m. and will offer awards to all kids in grades K-6 for this school year.
All ages are welcome to participate in the 1-mile Kids Race.
The 29th annual 5K race will start at 9:15 a.m. Awards in the 5K go to the top three male and female finishers overall and in eight different age categories.
This scenic course has only one short major hill and is open to fast times. The 5K is the first event in the Walpole Grand Prix Race Series.
Walpole Co-operative Bank is the major race sponsor. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the Walpole Boosters High School Track Scholarship.
The race is held in conjunction with the 66th Annual Walpole Village Fair, which will be held all day on June 11.
Registration is $20 anytime for the 1-mile. For the 5K, it is $25 to register before the race, and $30 to register the day of the race. Day of race registration will open at 7:30 a.m.
