The Junior Woman’s Club of Walpole’s (JWCW) 6th annual Beer, Wine & Spirits Tasting was held on Friday, Nov. 4th at CBS Scene in Patriot’s Place and was another resounding success. This year’s event raised $5,080 to help bolster the local programs organized by the Walpole Veterans Committee. At the JWCW’s November meeting, members presented the Walpole Veterans Committee with a check and thanked all who supported the cause.
JWCW raises funds for vets, domestic violence
In addition to the check presentation, the JWCW members assembled 50 domestic violence victim hygiene kits and distributed them to local organizations, including the Walpole Police Department and New Hope, a non-profit organization servicing domestic and sexual violence survivors.
