The Walpole Junior Women’s Club held its 25th Annual Fashion Show, Come on, Barbie! Let's Go Party!, at the elegant and spacious Four Points by Sheraton Norwood’s Tiffany Ballroom. Over 700 women attended, many dressed in bright pink for the Barbie theme, and together they celebrated the power of women working together to benefit local-area families and organizations.
Guests bid on raffles set up on several tables at the entrance to the ballroom. The raffle items were generously donated by 83 area businesses. Cocktails and an elegant dinner followed, brought by efficient, white-gloved servers.
Next, club member Melissa Rush opened the evening’s program by welcoming the guests and introducing the exciting 3-segment runway show that featured fashions from Milk Money of Wellesley, Amelia Sky of Walpole, and Cabi Online. The au courant clothing presented in the show was modeled by members of the Walpole Junior Women’s Club. The show was narrated by Emcee Tom Leyden and accompanied by music by DJ Teenie Z. Between segments of the fashion show, raffle prizes were announced. Finally, the evening wrapped up with a great dance party!
The clothing featured in the fashion show included dress, business, and casual outfits. Models wore pants with wide legs, skinny legs, and raw hems. Dress hemlines hit both mid-calf and above the knee.
