Nine Westwood girls participated in the 2016 Junior Patriots Cheerleading Program. They attended two cheer and dance clinics, and one dance rehearsal hosted by the New England Patriots Cheerleaders between May and August. The program concluded with an opportunity to perform in the pre-game show when the Patriots hosted the New Orleans Saints at the pre-season game on August 11 at Gillette Stadium. 240 girls between the ages of 7 and 17 participated in the pre-game show. The girls spelled out “B-R-A-D-Y” on the field to honor quarterback Tom Brady.
