The Westwood High School boys’ varsity hockey team fought hard against Ashland on Thursday, February 15th at the Loring Ice Arena, toppling the other team with a score of 5-2 and pushing the record to 10-7. The boys clinched the playoffs for the 41st consecutive year.
The following night, they faced off against Medfield as the Wolverines hosted their Senior Night. Their winning streak continued as the boys fought hard against the Medfield Warriors, slipping past them by a final score of 3-2.
The Wolverines are scheduled to face off against North Attleboro High School on Thursday, February 22nd at 2pm at the Canton Ice House for one final game before playoff season begins. The playoff schedule is set to come out at a later date.
