With the summer coming to a close, the Suburban Summer Swim League held their final joint meet of the season last Saturday, with members of the Walpole Barracudas, Medfield Marlins, Sherborn Snappers, Needham Sharks, and Westwood Waves all participating.

Walpole’s Lindsey Ahmed and Bridget Abril, as well as Julio Borto, helped guide the Barracudas to a third place finish with strong performances in the 25-yard and 50-yard butterfly events.

Needham, meanwhile, finished sixth thanks to a solid all-around performance, highlighted by a strong showing by Molly Sheehan in the 25-yard butterfly.

Caroline Brand highlighted a strong showing by the Medfield Marlins with her performance in the 25-yard butterfly, while Riley Correll also swam strong for Sherborn in the 50-yard butterfly.

Westwood’s Abigail Phu put together a strong performance in the 50-yard freestyle.
