With just five games remaining in the regular season, the Dover-Sherborn boys’ hockey team is 6-7-2 and needs to win three of their remaining games to qualify for the state tournament. The Raiders have lost their last three games.
“We hope to turn things around on Wednesday, February 10 when we travel to Loring Arena to face off against Ashland,” said coach Jeff Moore. “We previously beat Ashland 4-0 and are hoping to start our win streak to finish the season on Wednesday.
“We all understand the situation we have put ourselves in and need to focus on consistent effort, positive attitude and teamwork to accomplish our goal of making the tournament. As we have all year, we will look to our seniors and captains to lead the way these next two weeks.”
On Saturday, February 13, the Raiders will host Holliston at William Chase Arena before traveling to Pirelli Veteran’s Skating Arena to play Bellingham on Monday, February 15.
