On Friday, the Needham Library hosted a day celebrating the movie “Star Wars” and its legion of fans, especially young fans. The day included Jedi Training with Jungle Jim, trivia contests, craft projects, and a costume party in the Community Room.
The library was packed with Jedi Knights, Anakin Skywalkers, Darth Vaders, Princess Leias, Stormtroopers and more of the movie’s favorite characters, as the young participants came together to share in the fun of the movie franchise that has been around since many of their parents were young.
Local stores also participated in the daylong Star Wars convention with displays, toys, coins, comics, and more.
It was a day filled with out of this world adventures.
