Historical Society presentation on flu epidemic

At the Monday, November 5 Medfield Historical Society meeting, Linda Morse will talk about how Medfield was impacted by the deadly Spanish flu epidemic that killed an estimated 50 million people worldwide.

The 7:30 p.m. meeting is free and open to the public at the old meetinghouse, otherwise known as the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, located on 26 North Street.

Linda grew up in Medfield and now teaches several history and other courses at Foxborough Regional Charter High School. She also edits the New England Journal of History.
