The Medfield on the Charles Antique, Classic & Custom Auto Show will be celebrating its 15th anniversary this coming Sunday, June 25, from 9-4. It will be held on Hospital Road right beside the Medfield State Hospital grounds. This venue can hold over 1,200 vehicles on its show field.
Vehicles from the early teens to modern day muscle cars will be coming in record numbers. There will be early rare Bugattis, Ferraris, Corvettes, beautifully restored antiques, and classics of all makes. There will be a Batmobile cruising in for the kids and adult kids to enjoy. The feature vehicle display will be makes made in 1957 and 1967. There will be a competition between Mustangs and Corvettes to see which one is more popular. A special display of big trucks will be a welcome addition to the show. There will be Macks, Autocars, bulldozers and enormous front-end loaders for the youngsters to enjoy.
Over 145 trophies and cash prizes will be awarded, including several specialty awards. There will be a food court and beverages. Four on the Floor Band will provide live music. Dee Jay Doc will MC the event and play the oldies all day.
Attendees will also be able to have their pictures taken with a” Marilyn Monroe" lookalike or standing in front of a one-of-a-kind vehicle.
This year, the show will be paying tribute to J. Geils with a specialty award for his love for Italian made automobiles, as well as recognizing Faith Tiberio for the inspiration to bring the show to the MetroWest area.
There will be free on-site parking. Admission to the show will be $7 for adults, with children under 12 admitted free.
