HTW’s April vacation guide

Looking for some family-friendly activities to keep the kids entertained during April vacation? Look no further! From Medfield to Westwood, there are plenty of exciting events happening in your area, catering to children of all ages.

The week kicks off on Tuesday with several standout events. Sherborn Library offers a Disney double feature of Moana films at 11:00 AM followed by Earth Day crafts at 3:00 PM. Needham Free Public Library presents a creative coding challenge and gaming lounge for teens at 2:00 PM, while Medfield launches its Tween/Teen Maker Space series at 3:00 PM.

Wednesday brings story times to two locations: Dover Town Library hosts Pumpernickel Puppets at 11:00 AM while Westwood Public Library offers a special outdoor Seeding Storytime at the same hour. Needham continues its coding challenge at 2:00 PM, followed by Peep diorama crafting in Dover at 3:30 PM. Sherborn entertains with Big Ryan's Tall Tales at 3:30 PM.

Thursday features hands-on activities across multiple towns. Walpole Public Library presents Movie Madness at 6:00 PM, while Westwood hosts upcycled book crafts at 1:00 PM. Needham invites families to plant peas at 2:00 PM, and Sherborn wraps up the day with Deb Hudgins' Sing & Swing performance at 10:15 AM.

Friday offers creative opportunities with Medfield's drama workshop concluding at 2:00 PM and Dover's children's cooking class with Chef Reilly at 11:00 AM. Needham's week-long coding challenge finishes at 2:00 PM.

The week concludes on Saturday with two special events: Walpole's WHS Tri-M Music Performance at 10:30 AM and Dover's manga drawing workshop for teens at 2:00 PM.

All programs are free to attend, though some may require advance registration. Library staff encourage families to check individual library websites for complete details on these and other April vacation offerings.
