Foam filled afternoon at the DTL

The Dover Town Library (DTL) welcomed the New England Foam Factory (NEFF). Little ones and their guardians gathered on the lawn right outside of the DTL to partake in this foam-tastic party.

Sporting their bathing suits and play clothes, children could not contain their excitement as two representatives from NEFF started to set up the Professional Super Foam Cannon. Right as the clock struck 4 pm, large amounts of foam started spraying down on all the attendees.

According to the NEFF website, their top-of-the-line Foam Blaster “can shoot foam up to 25+ feet high, and fill about 1/2 the size of a tennis court with foam up to 6-7 feet deep in just minutes.” The best parts about this foam is that the height is easily adjustable for all ages, eco-friendly and safe, biodegradable, dye-free, hypoallergenic, safe for grass, kid and pet friendly and zero clean up is required at the end.

As time went on, the foam started to pile up in which little ones were coming out completely covered from head to toe in foam. Many of them would run out to their guardians, have them wipe their faces and eyes so they could see, and run right back into the foam. Two little boys, Thomas and Taylor, would come out of the foam sporting different poses while completely covered for their guardian to snap a photo of the two.

For children who were a little weary about the foam, adults joined right in there with them, showing it was completely safe and so much fun. As the kid-friendly music played and foam sprayed about in the air, smiles and laughter could be seen all throughout the hour. While this is the first foam party the DTL has ever thrown, they quickly mentioned by the end of the event that it certainly will not be the last.
