Over 100 golfers teed off on Monday, May 9 in the First Annual Dover-Sherborn Boosters Golf Outing held at the Framingham Country Club.

Registration began at 11 a.m., followed by a lunch in the clubhouse, group photo on hole 1 and introduction by Bill Scatchard, DS Boosters President.

Signs for 25 sponsors graced each of the 18 holes, the practice putting green and the driving range.

Hole #8 featured a “Hole-in-One, Win an Audi,” sponsored by Bernardi Auto Group. Although no one won the car, there was a Hole-in-One on the 17th Hole, fortuitously made by Bill Scatchard, President of DS Boosters and lead organizer of this year’s golf outing. He went home with a flat-screen TV for his first ever ace.

The first place team with a -22 was the foursome of Nick Morrissey, Steve Burton, Joe Gallagher and Brian Murphy. Second Place went to the foursome of George Doherty, Doug Gladstone, John Fattore and Kris Kolligian.

Winners of the Longest Drive on hole 9 were Adam Briggs (M) and Annie Kenney (W). Closest to the Pin on hole 11 was Eric Hill.

Post-golf festivities included a Silent Auction, Dinner, Awards Ceremony and Live Auction, with all of the proceeds supporting the athletic program and athletes at Dover-Sherborn High School.

The organizers of the event would like to thank all the golfers, sponsors, and volunteers, as well as to the Interim DS Regional School Superintendent Bill McAlduff, DSHS Headmaster John Smith, Athletic Director Jeff Parcells, Athletic Administrative Assistant Susan Connelly, and Regional School Committee members Clare Graham and Dana White, for all their support of Boosters and DS student-athletes.

Save the date for the Second Annual Dover-Sherborn Boosters Golf Outing on May 8, 2017!
