Boy Scouts of America, Troop 1 Dover, celebrated Seth Novitch’s Eagle Court of Honor on Sunday, April 30. Seth recently completed all the requirements for the rank of Eagle Scout and received his Eagle award at the Eagle Court of Honor ceremony at the Dover Church on 17 Springdale Ave.
In order to achieve the rank of Eagle, Seth had to earn a minimum of 21 different merit badges, including thirteen Eagle-required badges. He also performed many hours of community service and most importantly organized and carried out an Eagle Leadership Service Project with help from fellow scouts in Troop 1.
Seth is a senior at the Dover Sherborn High School and plans to attend Elon University this fall.
