Dover-Sherborn recently had some very strong showings at the Destination Imagination State Championships.
Teams representing Chickering, Pine Hill and the Dover-Sherborn Middle School performed with creativity, excellent teamwork, and all around good sportsmanship. Each team put forth an excellent effort after months of hard work
Three Dover-Sherborn teams competed: the Volcanic Explosion (Chickering, fifth grade), the DI Devils (Pine Hill, fifth grade) and the Supersonic Seven (sixth grade at the middle school).
The Volcanic Explosion is made up of Enrique Montemayor, Anissa Patel, Alex Banerjee and Abby Wayne.
The DI Devils include Garrett Theberge, Elizabeth Phillips, Vivian Jalali, Cian Keohane, Ada Schwarz, Ava Schwartz and Connor Murphy.
The Supersonic Seven includes Kai Abbett, Luke Theberge, Jack Potter, Laurel Mahoney, Riley Schumacher, Sophia Tate and Sam Thompson.
The top two teams from each category move on to the Global competition that is held at the end of May in Knoxville, Tennessee, and both the Supersonic Seven (Improv) and the DI Devils (Improv) qualified for Globals, the ultimate achievement for these teams after they worked diligently all season for their respective teams as the Dover-Sherborn Destination Imagination program continues to grow and thrive.
