Fifth grade students at Newman Elementary School in Needham recently took a trip to Boston to visit with State Representative Denise Garlick and to take a tour of her office in the State House.
The students have been studying government and got a closer look at how the state government works.
According to one of the teachers, “The students had a great time touring the building, posing for photos with State Representative Denise Garlick and joining her in chambers for a ‘Q & A’ session.”
