The fall season is in full swing and for most people that means one thing, decorations are coming down from the attic and covering the house to invite people in. Walpole Public Library (WPL) invited adults to enjoy a night of crafting and leave with a fall wreath to adorn their house with.

Twig wreath bases were on every table with hot glue guns and people filed in. Craft nights make great activities to do with friends and loved ones. People came in in groups and moved their seats together, having light and fun conversations above the wreaths.
The table on the wall was filled with flowers and leaves, artificial so they last but beautiful, nonetheless. Kurt Jones-Falter, assistant director of WPL started the activity off with a safety warning about the hot glue guns before letting everyone go off on their own.

Everyone’s wreaths came out unique, despite starting with all the same materials. Some created grand bouquets in a circle, but others used the bare base as a feature and accented it. It was an explosion of warm colors and bright smiles, and everyone had décor to hang on their doors for the season.
Make sure to check out the Walpole Public Library and their website for future events, and maybe you’ll leave with something great.
