The Flying High Dogs visited the Walpole Public Library to show off their frisbee-catching skills to a large audience. Gathered on Stone Field, the dogs performed their signature tricks for a crowd of excited families and children.

Three dogs showcased their talents with their trainer, Mike Piazza. The border collies Mojo, Oreo, and Chaos quickly became crowd favorites as they raced to catch frisbees, did flips, and displayed their impressive array of tricks. Many in the audience had seen the show before and were thrilled to watch the dogs perform again.

The best part for the young audience was their participation in the show. Piazza frequently called for volunteers to help with tricks and host the Walpole Olympics of frisbee throws. Kids eagerly interacted with the dogs, with the crowd cheering them on and awarding gold medals for the best tricks performed.

Later in the show, adults and parents were asked to compete against their children in a frisbee-catching contest. With ice cream on the line if the children won, the kids celebrated their victory enthusiastically.

The final segment of the show featured the dogs competing against each other to catch three frisbees first. Running up to 30 miles per hour, it was a close competition, but Oreo clinched the win with a final jumping catch.

The Flying High Dogs are a beloved attraction in Walpole, and everyone is eagerly anticipating their next show. These events provide a fantastic opportunity for children to witness the capabilities of dogs and learn about dog safety during the summer. Piazza taught kids about the abilities of different dog breeds and emphasized the importance of keeping dogs cool and safe. He reminded them not to leave dogs in cars during the summer, to ensure they have access to water, and to check the pavement temperature before walks.
