Brownies collecting for Cradles to Crayons

Dover Brownie Troop 66336 will be holding a clothing drive for Cradles to Crayons as part of one of their troop community service projects. Founded in 2002, Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play.

Among Cradles to Crayons most requested items is clothing. So, the troop has placed a clothing donation box in the front lobby of the Dover Town Library and has invited the Dover Community to place any new or gently used clothing there. Cradles to Crayons is especially in need of winter items such as, coats, boots, hats and mittens. The troop will then sort the articles of clothing and present them to Cradles to Crayons at their troop meeting on Wednesday, December 14.

Consider donating those too small or rarely used items in your closet and make a family in need very grateful.
