The Woman's Club of Westwood recently held their annual Christmas party with lots of food and festive holiday decorations. The members were dressed in their Christmas attire and looking forward to a fun time.
The Club had invited Duane Sullivan, who was raised in Westwood and attended the school system, to perform. Sullivan is the son of Ms. Ann Marie Sullivan, a long-time member of the Woman’s Club. Duane is a 1990 graduate of the New England Conservatory, has made the performing arts his full time profession, and has gone on to entertain at the national and local level.
Sullivan entertained with his guitar and voice, singing Christmas Carols and oldies-but-goodies.
Poinsettias were raffled off to lucky winners.
The Club's first meeting of the New Year will be held at the Library in Westwood on January 25 at 1 p.m. The meeting will be called the "Dark Tide." More information is to follow.
