Jonathan Bertone & Ryan Williams, sophomores from Westwood High School, recently won the "Keeping It Reel" award at the Salem Film Festival for their short documentary "Most Valuable Heist of All Time". The film covers the theft of 13 works of art from the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum in Boston. The art pieces are currently valued at over $500M, have never been recovered, and no one has been charged with the crime. The "Keeping it Reel" contest is a showcase for Massachusetts high school students to present their short documentary and experimental documentary films. Open to current high school students (individuals or groups) who live in Massachusetts. The contest was sponsored by Boris FX and the students were awarded licenses to the Boris FX toolset to further enhance their future video projects.
