The Westwood Public Library is now offering curbside pick-ups for patrons borrowing materials from the library from Monday to Thursday, between 10:00 a.m. and 4 p.m. Patrons can use the library catalog, the Minuteman Mobile App, or call library staff to place a hold on materials.
When materials are ready, patrons will receive a notification through email, text, or a phone call, depending on the setup of each individual’s account. Patrons are then asked to schedule their pickup time at (781-336-7562). Materials will be placed in a paper bag with the borrower’s name on it on a table in the front lobby of the library. A due date receipt will be included in the bag.
When items are returned, they go through a 72 hour quarantine period before they are checked back in to the library and allowed to be checked out again. Until then, the material will remain marked as if checked out. Contact staff by calling (781-320-1045) or )(781-326-7562), or by emailing [email protected] if they are still marked under your account after three days since returning them.
