Ava Ng, a Westwood resident and fourth grader at Martha Jones Elementary, won two gold medals in both the form and breaking events at the 2017 Heart of Massachusetts Taekwondo Championships in Auburn.
Ava’s older brother, Alexander, a sixth grader at Thurston Middle School, won a silver medal for the form event and a gold medal for the breaking event.
In total, the Ng siblings brought home three gold medals and one silver. Their success in medals at the Heart of Massachusetts Championships comes after three years of training under Master Jean Theodat of Elite Tae Kwon Do in Dover.
