Organizers of the Westwood Community Chest's Gala of Giving that took place on March 26 at Brookmeadow Country Club report that the event was a huge success.
Some of the highlights included:
- More than 100 attendees dressed up in Derby-themed outfits, including fun hats
- They enjoyed Southern-food and horse-racing themed drinks
- Attendees had the chance to bid on more than 50 items in our silent auction and online auction, including sports tickets, vacation getaways and restaurant and retail experiences
- We benefited from a supportive group of sponsors, including Winner's Circle Sponsor, Roche Brothers. Other sponsors included Needham Bank, Supreme Development, Dedham Savings, Artemis Realty + Design, Fox Hill Village, Wegmans and Rockland Trust
- More than $50,000 twas raised to provide grants to Westwood residents facing unexpected financial challenges
The organizers extended their thanks and appreciation to all those who volunteered or made donations to help make the 2026 Community Chest Gala of Giving a success.
